Why use IIG?

Internet Information Group has always provided a high quality, Business Grade Broadband Solutions, and will soon offer a competitive Residential Grade Service.

When choosing an Internet Service Provider for your broadband network, there are many things to take into account. Compare our service and prices to others but remember, not all ADSL solutions are the same and therefore the old adage "you get what you pay for" is important.

You will find we compare favourably in price to the major suppliers, yet out do them on service and quality!

The benefit of our ADSL network and the difference from others is based on what we don't do as opposed to what we do. Here's some examples:

Take all of the above into account and then add the fact that we provide the following Free of Charge:

ADSL Equipment

An ADSL modem is required to connect to the network. The modem can be integrated in a router or instead connected directly to a computer.

We only recommended the use of a router as this allows access for several computers at once while providing security from the Internet by way of the builtin Firewall. A modem gives access to the connected computer only, requires the computer to be turned on all the time and does not provide any protection for that computer.

SHDSL

SHDSL stands for Symmetric High-Speed Digital Subscriber Loop. It offers speeds from 512 Kbit to 2 Mbit but is available only from a limited number of telephone exchanges at this time. If you have a need for higher speed, please contact our office for prices and availability.

ADSL2 / ADSL2+

ADSL2 / 2+ is a newer revision of the ADSL service permitting much faster services - due to the very limited area covered by ADSL2 currently, we have decided not to offer this at this time. We will continue to monitor availability in the future.
